The following statement explains our policy regarding the personal information we collect about you.

Statement of Intent

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users to us, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user.

Climate Impact Partners does collect source IP address information from all people. By connecting to our website, you consent to us holding your data and sending you marketing information.

Information on visitors

During any visit to Climate Impact Partners, the pages you see, along with something called a cookie, are downloaded to your computer. To update personal data submitted to us, you may email us at privacy@climateimpact.com or, where appropriate, contact us via the relevant website registration page or by amending the personal details held on relevant applications with which you registered. When practically possible, once we are informed that any personal data processed by us is no longer accurate, we will make corrections (where appropriate) based on your updated information.

Withdrawal of consent

Where we process personal data based on consent, individuals have a right to withdraw consent at any time. We do not always, or even generally, process personal data based on consent (as we can usually rely on another legal basis). As well as rights of access and amendment referred to above, individuals may have other rights in relation to the personal data we hold, such as a right to erasure/deletion, to restrict or object to our processing of personal data and the right to data portability.

Direct marketing and user surveys

As our services expand, there will be more opportunities to enhance the services provided to you. From time to time, we may send you details of other services and products that may be of interest to you and offer you the opportunity to subscribe to them. We may also offer you the opportunity to participate in surveys that help our research into the types of service we offer. We will keep a record of information provided by you.
